Sabrina Speich, is a midwife from the Maya region of Quintana Roo since 1999 and a mother of eight children. Over the years of providing care, she received numerous requests to share her knowledge. In November 2013, she embarked on a journey to a traditional midwives' congress in Brazil, where she discovered through energy work that she would establish a center of care with apprentices and other therapists. She was guided by the spirit of the Bear, serving as her totem. The name "Osamayor" is derived from the star constellation, deeply symbolic among the Maya, Toltecs, Taoists, and many more spiritual paths. It is the constellation that influences human destiny, connecting it with the universe to recognize our work here and now. The worship of the Bear brings us back to matriarchy, where women's cycles and processes were central to social order. Let's inspire and invite many more women, children, and men to join our work.
